YOUNG TRADERS MARKET COMPETITION 2025
regional final on sunday 10th augustVIEW OUR FULL INFORMATION PACK HERE
For the first time ever, the National Market Traders Federation are bringing their wildly popular Young Traders Market competition to Scotland! Every year, hundreds of the UK’s best young talent (ages 16 – 30) battle it out on the stalls to become the national Young Trader Champion.
Local heats are hosted across the UK, and those successful are put forward to the regional finals to represent their country. The grand finals are held over the August bank holiday weekend in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
We at Errol Sunday Market (Scotland’s LARGEST market!) are incredibly proud to be the first ever regional hosts of this prestigious competition on the 10th of August, and we are offering locals a chance to showcase their talent in our own local heat on the 26th of July.
WHY SHOULD I GET INVOLVED?
The Young Traders Market is beneficial at every stage in the competition, so no matter how far you get- it’s time well invested. Local heats provide you with invaluable experience trading at established markets, testing your customer service skills and your salesmanship. If anything, it’s a chance to make some cash and introduce yourself to a new audience and get your business out there!
If you are lucky enough to progress to the final and win, you’ll be rewarded with a £500 cash prize and the title of the National Young Market Champion. This comes alongside invaluable promotional opportunities that come with this title, as well as a working partnership with the NMTF to mentor and speak to future YTM applicants
What better way to kickstart your own career?
