Another successful Tayside Classic Car Club Show for the books!
Not even the rain could sour the determination of all the car enthusiasts flocking to Errol to see the incredible collection of vehicles on display. Our large events field was packed with a wide range models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles as far as the eye could see– a true motorhead’s dream! Many thanks to the Tayside Classic Car Club for choosing our site year after year to host this amazing event. We’re looking forward to next year already!
Further details on the funds raised for local charities during the event will follow. Last year, they raised an incredible £10,000, which they donated to Cash for Kids and 5 other charities.
Even through the cold and rain, our traders and visitors still showed out with smiles all round, All activities went ahead as scheduled, even the brave souls at Cee-Cee Entertainments who set up an inflatable wonderland for the kids to enjoy in those brief dry moments. They also brought their talented face painter with them and a candy floss stall!
Talented, Dundee-based musician serenaded us with his music set- humorously starting with the song ‘I Can See Clearly’!
Our in-house stilt walkers once again wowed the crowds with their circus skills and making custom balloon animals for the kids.
As part of our Big C campaign, Morris Leslie staff ran their own car boot to great success. All funds raised from the stall are going towards our main goal of £15,000 by the end of the year.
And finally, to round off the day, we presented our hardworking traders with some well deserved awards as voted by the public!
The Toy Fair on May 6th was a resounding success! Our friends at Retro Consoles UK organised an amazing array of stalls jam packed full of toys and collectables. From the casual customer to the fervent collector, there was something for everyone.
A special shout-out to all the individuals who came dressed as their favourite characters- your costumes were fantastic!
Sunshine, crafts, and chocolate goodies! Kids let their imaginations run wild at our big egg decorating crafts stall and competed for the titles of Prettiest, Funniest, and Most Creative Egg. A few brave families withstood the wind and charged through our egg and spoon race. The Easter Bunny made a special appearance, by exclusive invite of CHAS Library, and handed out Cadbury Crème eggs. And our very own traders, Eric and Lana, showed off their circus skills!
